My Stalking Blog – I Apologize!

Before posting Chapter 39, I’d like to take a moment to apologize to my stepmother for any offense she may feel concerning that chapter. I hope she’ll bear in mind that I wrote the book “STALKED! By Voices” eleven years ago.

I started STALKED! on September 11, 2001 when, because of the events of the day, I realized that I might never get an opportunity to tell my story. All I’ve ever heard were “The Voices/Stalkers” opinion of me and other people’s opinion of the great evil or black sin that I must have committed to have such horrible people in my life. I made a decision on that day, that before I went to my grave, I’d get ‘my truth’ out to the world.

So, as I watched the skies for any signs of planes headed for downtown Chicago, I gathered as much writing material as I could find, dumped it all on the dinning room table (my dinning room at the time had a back porch and I could keep a watchful eye on the sky) and I started writing.

That was eleven years ago. My stepmother and I have since become quite close, even friends. And we have helped each other over the rough spots and shall continue to do so. Which only proves, people don’t change, but our actions and reactions towards them can.

And, to answer your questions before I get a ton of emails asking why I didn’t give law officials a copy of the book. Let me say, I gave the local Maywood Police, the local FBI, and the Behavioral Analysis Unit at Quantico, Virginia a copy of STALKED! By Voices. Perhaps, the book’s former title, Confessions of a Schizophrenic might have been the reason for their inaction. But I doubt that!

Which reminds me, that while I’m apologizing, I’d also like to apologize to several Illinois politicians. I used to be very much interested in politics. And I’ve noticed that whenever I find something interesting and enjoyable, ‘The Voices/Stalkers’ always do their best to muck it up – take Church for instance. So my apologies to former Congressman Mel Reynolds, Dan Rostenkowski, the Silver Shovel convictees or as I like to call them Old Spades, George Ryan and Rod Glagojevich. But after all Chicago is a ‘Pay to Play’ town and The Voices/Stalkers were really playing
